PowerGard: Maintenance, Protection, Protection Plus

PowerGard from John Deere is a programme designed to help you contain the costs of running your John Deere machines. There are two major products:-

PowerGard Maintenance

A plan to do all the maintenance work on your John Deere tractor according to the service schedule in the operator’s manual.

PowerGard Protection

A contract to cover the cost of repairs. Must be bought with a PowerGard Maintenance plan. See terms & conditions for exclusions.

PowerGard Maintenance:-

PowerGard Maintenance is a plan to do all the maintenance work on your John Deere tractor according to the service schedule in the operator’s manual.

Ensures optimum performance and reliability
Saves fuel
Only genuine John Deere filters and oils are used
Full service history enhances residual value

When you arrange for the dealer to do the work:

You benefit from the knowledge and experience of a LTA certified technician
The dealer disposes of waste fluids and filters
You can focus on your core business

PowerGard Protection:-

PowerGard Protection is a contract to cover the cost of repairs and must be bought with a PowerGard Maintenance plan. There are two levels:-

PowerGard Protection covers:-
Engine
Transmission
Frame
PowerGard Protection Plus covers the following additional components:-
Engine auxiliaries
Electrical components
Steering and brakes
Hydraulics
Operator’s station

Containing machinery costs:-

PowerGard can be included in the finance agreement for your John Deere tractor*. This makes it easy to budget for the tractor, the maintenance it requires and any repair costs. In turn, this will help you to even out the cashflow of your farming business, allowing you to budget no matter what your operation:-
